What You Will Do In Your Role (Responsibilities):
Design
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and
stakeholders.
Ideate, plan, design idea using storyboards, process flow and sitemaps.
Create mockup and prototype iterations to communicate design ideas.
Work closely with engineers and customers to design powerful and delightful products.
Work transparently and share progress, early and often, with remote cross-functional
teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with product management to align product vision and feature requirements
with frontend design of web and mobile software. Lead and assist in user research activities.
Develop
Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes based on designs using our internal framework.
Create new reusable components using React to add to our framework.
Implementing TDD (Test Driven Development) into workflow
The Experience You Will Bring:
Requirements:
3+ years of proven work experience as UI/UX Designer
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate your reasoning and designs to a team
of developers, project managers during meetings and demos.
Proven experience designing cross-platform (web, mobile (iOS and Android), emails)
Experience working with frontend developers to translate wireframes and mockups into real
software.
Experience with design tools including Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure RP, InVision or
comparable design programs.
Experience with the following tools/frameworks/languages
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
React, Node.js, npm, and framework integration (e.g., Material-UI, Bootstrap React)
Form validation (e.g., Formik)
Experience with design systems, frameworks, pattern libraries (Bootstrap, Material etc.)
