About the Role

As a Software Tester, you will have a major role to play in the quality assurance stage of software development. You will carry out manual tests both on Web and Mobile Applications to ensure the software created meets the requirements. This involves the analysis of software to prevent issues and fixing bugs before the product is dispatched to users. As working with code is part of the role, software testers are expected to be familiar with various coding languages. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, wed like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Job Description

Responsibilities & Deliverables of the Manual tester

• Analyzing the system and client requirements
• Testing Web and mobile applications/devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently. • Arranging Test Environment to execute the test cases, test scripts and reviewing results
• Conducting Review Meetings, Analyzing and executing Test Cases
• Responsible for Test Plans, defect tracking and reporting of bugs to developers so as to fix it
• Communicating with Test Manager
• Reporting and documenting technical issues, test phases and defects
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Test Cases for various testing processes
• Summary Reports and Test Data for test cases
• Lesson Learnt documents (based on testing inputs from previous project) 

Qualification and Key Skills

• Hands on experience on GIT, JIRA, Jenkins
• Programming languages (Java, JavaScript, XML)
• Web browser debugging tools (Firebug, Dev Tools)
• Defect management tools (Jira, Rally)
• Any graduate with minimum 3+ years of experience working on multiple domains preferred
• Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be on par the market.
