Apart from technical some non-technical skills demanded includes the ability to interact with teams, self-motivating,
team lead in initiating a task, interpersonal communication, and management skills.

Scope of a Power BI developer

The power BI developer is required to handle several tasks and must be an expert in doing their part of the work.
Dashboard making, creating reports, datasets analyzing, and organization of the BI tools.
The power BI developers are recruited as data analysts, software engineers, developers, and business analysts.

Roles and responsibilities

1.Building Analysis Services reporting models.
2.Power BI development and administration.
3.Building Analysis Services reporting models.
4.Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
5.Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
6.Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
7.Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
8.Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
9.Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
10.Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
11.Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
12.Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
13.Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
14.Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
15.Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL, data warehouse etc.
