Job Description / Responsibilities

1. Strong knowledge of AWS

2. Experience in managing/working on AWS environment

3. Deploying and managing scalable systems with high availability on AWS

4. Provide support for AWS systems including monitoring and resolution of issues

5. Experience building high performing, stable, and secure infrastructure that is scalable and efficient

6. Experience with the technologies and tools we use- PHP, JS, MySQL, GitHub, JIRA, Postman, AWS (ElastiCache for Redis, Aurora / RDS, S3, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, VPC, SQS, Cognito, IAM, WAF, Route 53, CloudFront, Code Pipeline, CloudWatch)

7. Experience deploying and maintaining a micro-service architecture

8. Experience with server-less infrastructure paradigms

9. Strong knowledge of security best practices (relevant experience in fintech preferred)

10. A knack for benchmarking and optimization

11. Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.

12. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

13. Ability to implement, document, and communicate architecture and processes.

14. Manage security of the systems

Qualification

Academic (UG/PG)

BE / ME /MCA/Bsc/ MSc in Computer Science or Equivalent

Required Skill Set

1. 6-10 yrs. working experience as an AWS Administrator.

2. 3+ years in DevOps.

4. Data storage fundamentals: From simple, yet powerful, bucket storage using S3 to Relational Database Service (RDS) and all the way to full fledged Hadoop clusters, youll need to compare different capabilities, performance and price, and choose the best way to store

5. Security foundations: Identity and Access Management (IAM), a service that will help you define which services and users can access which resources. Knowledge on how to secure your networks using Security Groups and Access Control Lists.

6. AWS service selection:Should kow what services are at vendor/org disposal and have a good understanding of the services relevant to the organization.

7. Cloud-specific patterns and technologies:Periodically measure on Scalability, availability and recovery. Patterns such as pub/sub, queuing and eventual consistency will help you create applications that can be scaled by creating more instances of the same service.
