Key responsibilities 

• The Cloud Onboarding team within the Maersk Cloud Foundation Engineering (CFE) department is responsible for delivering a best-in-class cloud engineering capability for the products and platforms at Maersk.
• Working as part of the Cloud Onboarding team, you will support digital products across Maersk. Focus is on cloud-native development, time to market, and accelerating the business in delivering digital transformation. The team also aims to identify cost cutting concerns and addresses these through automation and self-service.
• You will work closely with the other cloud software engineers, cloud engineers, and cloud architects in CFE and have accountabilities relating to executing the overall CFE roadmap supporting Maersk Digital Transformation and cloud journey and you will work using Agile methodologies. Our goal is to enable the product team to deliver value.
• Develop solutions to support our transition to cloud paving the way for other teams to move fast.
• Build tools and patterns to ensure maximum re-use of solutions and lower the effort to build new products.
• Onboarding products to Maersk's Unified Delivery Model, ensuring products are delivered using compliant and secure Infrastructure.
• Collaborate both in-team and out-team with knowledge sharing and communities of practice.
• Ensuring infrastructure is provisioned following Maersk Cloud Architecture and adoption patterns.
• Manage access to cloud-hosted environments using Azure and Cloud Foundation Engineerings own Cloud management platform.
• Ensure products are following DevOps recommended practices and execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Candidate will have between 4-9 yrs of total experience.
• .Net Developer with experience in developing software on Public Cloud. (Azure, GCP, or other clouds).
• PaaS infrastructure design and develop
• C#/Go/Node or any other compiled-language experience are appreciated.
• The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with building cloud-native applications and a solid understanding of IaaS and PaaS.
• Awareness of, and ability to reason about, modern software & systems architectures, including load-balancing, performance tuning, availability, business continuity, fault-tolerant distributed systems, microservices, and so on
• Independent and self-managed but shines when in a team, communicating well, and exercising initiative when presented with problems.
•  The candidate will have an understanding of modern DevOps and Agile practices..
• Aligning, knowledge sharing, discipline coaching among team members.
• The candidate is a resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment to work under minimal supervision and work collaboratively with the digital teams and the company's other IT teams.
