Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs to build integration between our different systems such as Salesforce, Shopify, SAP Business One, MS Azure Applications and third-party partners.
• Develop and deploy components in an ESB integration environment such as MFT GoAnywhere.
• Be the champion in researching and continuously look for ways to build and improve our current MuleSoft environment, coordinating with the different departments that actively use the services.
• Develop, build, test, and deploy software product features, select the best approach for implementation and develop functionality using industry best practices.
• Develop web applications and RESTFUL services for enterprise applications.
• Prepare technical documentation for the developed APIs.
• Keep track of issues and enhancement requests managing through to completion.
• Data management including mass uploads, data cleansing, reports and dashboards, de-duping accounts, contacts etc.
• Maintain security, including overseeing user roles, role hierarchy, sharing rules and security settings.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, interpret, and analyze requirements to align business process efficiencies and improvements with system functionality and ensure the accuracy of information feeding into the systems.
• Prepares documentation for system enhancements and customization, provides training and leadership to super-users. Document system configuration and administrative processes.
• Implement process improvements and automation to optimize operational and support processes.
• Participate in the ongoing support and maintenance of the Applications Ecosystem.
• Work with internal customers to gather requirements and implement API components.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base as needed to support Applications Ecosystem.
• Keep abreast of new releases, features, and best practices. Make recommendations regarding implementation as appropriate.
• Meet with senior management and end-users to understand the business inside and out so can make recommendations for improving user experiences and optimize business process.
• Create and manage changes to the Systems inclusive of: proactively seek out and identify need changes, gather feedback from users. Aim for modifications that are sustainable and increase benefit and usability to the customer. Manage continuous improvement and efficiently roll out new features. Create and maintain APIs. Working with others to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers. Maintain, prioritize, and report on user request backlog.

Desired Candidate Profile

Hands-on experience in the following:

• Java, J2EE, XML, middleware frameworks and other open-source frameworks and scripting languages such as Power Shell, Phyton, Java, CAML, etc.
• IIS, Apache and building RESTFUL services using MuleSoft, C#, Azure and AWS REST API services.
• Experience with MuleSoft CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, and DataWeave 2.0.
• Database technologies such as RedShift, Snowflake, SQL Server, etc.
• Experience in promoting code from sandboxes and UAT to the production environment, addressing issues related to functionality and integration using CI/CD.
• Experience developing API integration between different clouds and on-premises applications.
• Experience with Cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services is a definitive asset.
• Knowledge of Mortgage (Underwriting and servicing) and financial services industry background is an asset.
• Strong drive to learn.
• Outstanding oral and written communication, presentation and listening skills are a must.
• A friendly, professional demeanour, with an eagerness to work within a team environment.
• An attention to detail, with a passion to learn, improve and broaden skill set.
• An ability to effectively combine technical skills with a friendly and energetic approach to communication, particularly to non-technical users.
