• Roles and Responsibilities

1. Ensuring that the Technical documentation for all the services related to Company Portal
(VKMS) are implemented on timely basis.

• Developing modules in VKMS under the guidance of Java Tech Lead.

2. Follow Global best practices for software development.

• Ensure software development as per best practices mentioned in the SOP / Company Policy / SDLC documentation and Secure Coding Guidelines.

3. Well versed with latest Technologies for implementing automation.

• He should have hands on experience in Core Java development including open source technologies.
• Experience in Application Servers like Redhat Jboss/Wildfly/ Jasper.
• He should be well versed with Front end & Back end technologies.
• Expertise in Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Working knowledge in Database with good SQL writing skills in MS iSQL.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling.
• Knowledge in Implementing best practice (DMM, Engineering Excellence) using devops tools.
• Knowledge of software development best practices including secure coding guidelines, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Excellent knowledge of Core Java development including open source technologies , Advanced technologies would be preferred.
