Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Desired Candidate Profile

• Object-Oriented programming skills.
• Proficient with Objective-C and Swift.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Media and Cocoa Touch, Core Location, UIKit, Map, core services, etc.
• Familiar with iOS design patterns and coding conventions as well as Apples Human Interface Guidelines and App Store Review Guidelines
• Basic knowledge on Hybrid platforms (react-native or flutter) Or Basic knowledge of Android development (Java or Kotlin)
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Expert understanding of networking, local data caching, and multitasking on iOS
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Experience in web service integration (SOAP, REST)
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Familiarity with continuous integration & other third-party libraries and APIs
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, DevOps, or SVN
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Candidates having experience in React Native for Android along with iOS platforms will be preferred.
