We observed the lack of a digital payment solution in the intracity buses which is an iterative problem for the travel operators and the commuters.

Description:

We are looking for a Mobile Lead/Architect who will own the mobile/web development. As we are building from scratch, you will build & iterate the architecture for app development (Hybrid) and APIs to make the product a joyous experience for all users.

Leadership/Architect:

• Leads a mobile project (Hybrid) end-to-end and collaborates across functions. Drives planning, estimation and execution
• Architect, design, and develop scalable, resilient and fast mobile applications
• Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration, application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems) and management of the technical department
• Ability to innovate and develop new approaches to complex design problems and experience leading design efforts and providing technical leadership to developers
• Drive architecture and technology choices for mobile products
• Ability to lead and mentor a group of engineers

Skillset:

• 8 to 12 years experience in designing and implementing Hybrid Mobile applications
• Solid understanding of NFC & RFID technology
• Proven knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen size
• Should have expertise in hybrid mobile app development using Ionic Framework, Angular 5+ or React JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6, jQuery
• Experience in integration using external third-party libraries and APIs, payment gateways, Google Maps / Live location Tracking / GPS related APIs / ESRI Android SDK
• Have published at least 3 Android app in the Google play store or You have your own apps on the App store and/or projects on GitHub
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token or OAuth
• Solid understanding of the mobile/web development life cycle
• Experience with developing custom UIs and animations

Role:

• Designing & Building highly scalable Hybrid Mobile App
• Involvement in all aspects of development: playing a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment and help develop best practices for future development
• Own the automated build and deployment process for mobile applications, build & deploy apps to App stores
• Understands requirements well and comes up with an efficient design
• Optimizing the performance of the apps and keeping up to date with the latest industry trends in mobile technologies
• Work on code review, perform bug fixes and improving application performance
• Familiarity with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning
• Experience with automation testing and unit testing frameworks
• Implementation of application security including Information security principles
