Roles and Responsibilities

We @ Osmosys hiring an ambitious and energetic Cloud Developer who possesses a passion in Cloud technologies and to work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation Cloud Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Help to maintain the overall performance of our web applications and services
• Build up and implement reliable infrastructure components to deliver highly scalable services on the AWS platform
• Automate the deployment, administration and monitoring of our large-scale Linux environments
• Work with development teams to enhance, document, establish a process and improve the operability and security of our systems

Required Skills:

• Minimum 4~7 Years of experience in working with Cloud Development and Microservices Architecture.
• Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
• Experience building and maintaining production systems on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, etc. and familiarity interacting with the AWS CLI is essential, AWS Certification is desirable
• Experienced with AWS Security (IAM, AWS Security Hub, Security Groups, KMS, etc.)
• Solid scripting skills in one or more of: Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, PHP
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Experienced with source code control (GitHub or Bitbucket)
• Experience using any one modern Monitoring and Alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Opsgenie etc.)
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongodb which is optional
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible which is optional
• Experience creating automation using AWS Tools in Lambda, Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Containerization and associated management tools (Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of ITIL (IT Service Management) incident management, problem management, release management Agile practices
• A positive and creative approach to problem solving
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work with people from multiple technical disciplines e.g. dev / QA / product
