Job Description

We are looking for Data Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in Big Data.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in understanding distributed computing principles
• 2+ years experience in Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Spark. Mostly worked on Cloudera/Hortonworks/MapR distributions.
• 2+ years experience in programming in one of these languages- Java, Python, Scala
• 3+ years experience in writing medium to complex level SQLs
• Experience with building ETL pipelines in Big Data Ecosystem tools.
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
• Should have good understanding in analysing the existing data pipelines, data flows and code bases
• Able to understand architectures of legacy systems/Databases
• Should have proven experience in working with multiple Big Data projects especially ETL
• Experience in using version control tools such as Git, SVN, etc and CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, etc
• Should be strong and able to handle client facing meetings
• Should have strong analytical and logical skills
• Good to have basic data modelling experience
• Good to have experience working in Agile model
• Good communication skills
• Should have ability to learn new processes and tools quickly
• Good to have understanding of Public Clouds such as AWS, GCP, Azure
