Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop Big Data applications using Spark (Scala-Spark or Spark), Hadoop, Hive and/or Kafka, HBase, MongoDB
• Prior exposure to ETL toolsets such as Ab Initio, SAS or Informatics
• Understanding of Machine Learning models.
• Working knowledge on Public Cloud / Private Cloud platforms.
• Working on Complex Engineering Projects using cloud native architecture.
• Working on Large Scale Digital Platforms and marketplaces.
• Providing solutions with minimum system requirements and in Agile Mode.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3 - 8 year of IT experience with at least 2 Big data-based implementations
• Good communication skill in interacting with client and internal stakeholders.
• The candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in Spark, Scala / Python, Kafka, Hive.
• Development with Maven, SVN.
• Knowledge of other Hortonworks Data Platform components: Ranger, Zeppelin if available.
