Overview

Desidea Cooperation is seeking a full-time, Azure Devops Engineer to help our customers. The Azure Devops Engineer will play a key role in setting up the new department of Release in a team which is self-maintaining the devops role in the current environment. As part of a small, passionate team, your work here will be noticed, appreciated, tested, and deployed. The Devops Engineer must have initiative, drive, and a strong work ethic. The position balances a fast-paced work environment with doing things meticulously and properly; working independently within highly collaborative integrated teams; creating new practice of build and release process with ensuring it doesn't break the previous version. The perfect candidate should love proposing ideas and best practice related to Devops and help the team set up a new release process for effective release strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure and desktop solutions for our developer community.

• Design, develop and maintain common tooling, infrastructure, and processes for developer desktop platform on Azure.

• Write and test code to automate package building, testing, releasing and installation.

• Develop and maintain software packages for complex and core applications on Azure developer desktop platform.

• Troubleshoot and support developers on software package issues (L4 support).

• Maintain GitLab code repository and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Define and document policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for application packaging and CI/CD operations.

• Work closely with project/program managers and other technical teams within organization.

• Ensure product's performance, uptime, and scale while maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.

Technical Skills

• Proficient skills in PowerShell, Azure, Azure DevOps Platform, CI/CD and Windows development.

• Familiar with agile and continuous software development methodologies and practices.

• 5+ years' experience as a software engineer in a large team environment using CI/CD build chain tools: GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, TeamCity.

• 3+ years' programming with PowerShell, Azure CLI or other scripting language

• 1+ year experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer designing and delivering CI/CD pipelines

• In-depth knowledge of Windows software licensing, Windows Active Directory, Windows server or desktop

• Strong working knowledge of collaboration tooling used for software development such as Azure DevOps Boards (or Jira), MS Teams (or Skype)

• Experience with Octopus or other software packaging tools essential

• Experience with REST API, YAML, JSON and Git

• Good to have knowledge in Sitecore Azure Devops implementation & support

• Ability to propose best practices to the team with any release and devops related

• Must actively participate and help / troubleshoot and deployment related issue
