Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Design and build applications for different Android devices on all versions of Android SDK.
  • Proficiency with Android Application Components and Android UI principles.
  • Experience with lazy loading, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Experienced in asynchronous network mechanisms using libraries such as Retrofit/Volley over RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Android Architecture patterns and Jet Pack Components.
  • Strong debugging skills using Android Studio.
  • Proficient in Git Version Control System.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Experience with Cloud Message APIs and usage of Push Notifications.
  • Familiarity with differences in Navigation patterns in iOS and Android.
  • Maintenance of code integrity and organization with adherence to Clean Code Principles.

 

Desired Candidate Profile

 

  • Minimum 1 year experience in building responsive applications for Android OS.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
