A successful candidate needs to show demonstrable experience in one or more of these three areas:
1) Ruby on Rails
Skills required: Ruby Programming Language, UNIX environment, cron, XML, etc.
2) Infrastructure development
Skills required: Docker, Kubernetes, Javascript, XML, YAML
3) DITA
Skills required: Javascript, XLST, XML, UNIX environment

Should be experienced in software development methodologies. Should be a quick learner to understand the architecture and implementation code of the existing systems and take up enhancements and support as requested. Understand and demonstrate experience in validating and releasing bug-free code.

Responsibilities include:
Complete implementation of features that are partially implemented.
Participate in requirements gathering discussions for new functionality from stakeholders, and plan development/execution
Execute development projects according to plan without any overruns
Be disciplined to document requirements, solution architecture, and coding approach/details.
Work in collaboration with a team, be proactive and openly communicate

Qualifications and Experience
BS or higher Computer Science/Software Development
7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years direct experience in one or more areas outlined above
Ability to learn on the job and consistently use that learning
Ability to organize in the face of competing demands
Ability to quickly respond to changes in requirements
Excellent planning skills and team orientation - ability to work with others on the team
