Job Description

As an industry leader, we are dedicated to developing software that gives us an edge in the marketplace. Our UI Developers shape the look and feel of UWM 's entire line of business. In this role you will use your expertise and creativity to create beautiful and usable web applications.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
  • Meet with customers to understand the problems they face, and propose alternatives to create the ideal user experience to meet the business need
  • Assist with requirements gathering, then create process flows and wireframes to capture them
  • Collaborate with your team to apply best practices
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize existing applications to improve performance
  • Follow guidelines and standards to enforce consistency throughout all of our products
  • Perform code reviews
  • Balance several concurrent projects
  • Research new technologies and methods to continuously improve our applications



WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:

  • 2+ years of professional development experience with HTML and CSS
  • 1+ years of experience in React, Angular or Vue
  • Coding ability with JavaScript
  • UX/Usability experience
  • On-site attendance


Preferred:

  • A portfolio of wireframes and working code to wow us with
  • Development experience in the .NET MVC stack
  • Experience using Bootstrap or another responsive UI framework
  • Experience using Axure
  • Experience in any SPA
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using Web Fonts
  • Experience working as part of an agile or scrum team
  • Experience with Visual Studio and TFS
