UI AngularJS Web Developer

Rate up to $720+ corp

Long term (2+ year strategic contract role)

Web UI Developer: UI Web Developer with Angular (React/Vue a plus)

Team: Finance Business in Investment Banking IT Division, Securitized Products.

Specific tasks for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Design and develop enterprise applications.
• Familiarize with the applications, tools, feeds, databases, and batch files that are being supported by the team.
• Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered in Production.

The candidate is expected to be an extremely qualified developer of the highest caliber, capable of independently extracting requirements, deducing development tasks, and delivering components.

Key points include:
Required Skills/Experience:
8+ years in developing software solutions
Expert in HTML and SCSS (Angular Material is nice to have)
Expert Experience in Web development with Angular (React/AngularJS/Vue)
Passionate about JavaScript and/or TypeScript application development
Understand the JavaScript execution context, variable hoisting, and the asynchronous nature of JavaScript
Debugging JavaScript using the browser tools (IE11 / Chrome / Edge)
Writing unit test using JavaScript (Jest/Mocha/Jasmine), Node.js etc. are nice-to-have skills.
Must have GIT experience and preferably basic knowledge of GIT flow

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Knowledge of the investment banking or banking sector support environment would be
beneficial.
