Job Overview

The Technical Project Manager will be a member of the professional services team and is

responsible for supporting internal projects and some client engagements within our cybersecurity

solutions and services.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • The Technical Project Manager will manage the priorities of client-focused activities
  • through leveraging their experience within cybersecurity.
  • Deliver technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects for
  • client engagement.
  • Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage
  • internal and client expectations within deliverables, deadlines, scope, and quality.
  • Communicate complex technical matters in a way both technical and non-technical
  • personnel can understand.
  • Track program activities and progress from individual task level to strategic forecasts.
  • Identify problems in advance and assist in mitigating them.
  • Present and summarize complex, technical findings for legal, management, and other
  • non-technical audiences.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical/professional experience.
  • Two plus years of Project Management experience within threat intelligence, data analytics , and mobile applications is highly desirable but not required. At least one year of
  • professional experience within a consulting firm or prior experience working with
  • professional service firms (preferably law firms) or corporate legal departments.
  • Basic networking/OSI/TCPIP model understanding, how proxies work, knowledge of SSL
  • bypass.
  • Resource management and planning experience required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of networking, security, and web development technologies.
  • Exposure to reverse engineering a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client interactions and providing detailed status
  • updates for the projects on an as-needed basis for key stakeholders. Experience framing
  • findings and challenges with clients
  • Experience conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing,
  • deliverable tracking, schedule, financial monitoring, and reporting
  • Experience with ensuring appropriate project communication is occurring on an on-going
  • basis with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and influence
  • customers, employees, and management at all levels and thrive in a cross-functional
  • environment and organization.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with attention to detail are a must.
  • An ability to navigate ambiguous situations successfully.
  • The ideal location for this candidate will be in the Bay area, the secondary location would be the DC area.
