Job Description:

Join us in advancing the analytics culture in IT! You will focus on the development of new BI, reporting, and analytics services, while providing support to our existing system. This hybrid role will leverage technical and business skills to deliver first class reporting and analytical support across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate abstract business needs into business models that provide operational and analytical efficiencies.
• Articulate business needs into technical requirement and document functional rules, use cases, data mappings, wireframes and process flows.
• Work with other analysts/developers to create data pipelines and database objects that are used as data sources
• Analyze large data sets to derive context, relationship and trends to support strategic project direction
• Monitor data retrieval jobs and take appropriate steps to remedy issues using production service delivery best practices
• Demonstrate strong communication acumen; verbal and written
• Meet multiple work deadlines by problem-solving and self-prioritization that are aligned with organizational directions

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree; preferably technical field
• 3+ years' experience in business/data analysis, requirement gathering and documentation practices
• Solid experience in data queries and development using SQL/Informatica or similar tools
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and processes; Tableau highly desirable
• Background knowledge in insurance industry and terminology is a plus
• Understanding of agile and hybrid project structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication
