Position Description:
Provides technical and application support for all Disbursements related systems, including Lawson, Kronos, Chrome River, Ascend and MHC, among others. This support includes managing system updates, interfaces, data uploads, data extracts, testing, vendor incident/ticket tracking and management, process rules, process flows, local and system-wide report development, generation and distribution, security, internal staff training, etc.

The Systems Analyst is responsible for running jobs to support the payment needs of UPHS, including all Accounts Payable and Payroll payment processing jobs. Supports compliance with UPHS policies and procedures and Federal, state and local laws and requirements for tax reporting, filings and payment (W2, payroll taxes, 1099's), etc. Supports all AP and PR activities and outcomes.

Accountabilities:
• Lawson/Info System - Support AP and PR applications. Run AP and PR payment creation jobs. Run EDI & Summary Invoices jobs, develop and deliver reports to support AP and PR operations. Support tax reporting processes. Run month end, quarter end and year end jobs to support W2 and 1099 validation and processing.
• Kronos System - Support Time and Attendance and Connect applications. Run time record creation and export jobs. Develop and deliver report to support AP and PR operations, and entities operations as needed.
• Chrome River - Support Invoice and Expense applications. Develop and maintain policy rules, process and approval flows. Run interface jobs. Develop and deliver report to support AP and PR operations.
• Ascend - Support AP applications. Support optical character recognition, data integration, email and fax servers, process flows, etc.
• Provide application training to AP and PR staff.
• All Systems - Support application testing, upgrades, enhancement requests, service tickets, etc.
• Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Minimum Requirements:
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance required
• 5+ years of experience in a database analyst/database management role or experience with disbursement information systems required

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in using all functions of Crystal Reports
• Proficiency in using SQL Server Reporting Services
• Proficiency in using Oracle PL/SQL
• Proficiency in using Java
• Proficiency in using Visual Basic
• Proficiency in using Lawson/Info AP and PR applications (or another large ERP system)
• Proficiency in using Chrome River application (or other large Expense Management system)
• Proficiency in using Kronos application (or other large Time and Attendance system)
• Demonstrated project management skills
