For one of our prestigious clients, we have an immediate requirement for a “Sr UX/UI Designer” for their location in in Boston, MA

We are currently looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who will help shape and deliver our core design processes, standards, and tool kits that enable thoughtful product development and innovation across corporate product lines. You will help accelerate product teams by selectively delivering agency-like services: maintaining our central branding guidelines and component library, overseeing enterprise wide patterns and usage, building up internal content and knowledge sharing, burst UX engagements. You will also act as the evangelist and community leader for the wider network of corporate UX professionals.

Collaborator & Communicator - Proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate in a cross-discipline and creative team comprised of users, user experience designers, product managers, developers and executive leaders

Role Responsibilities:

• Participate in the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the corporate Digital Experience Toolkit (CDX) and design system.
• Provide leadership, documentation, direction and mentorship for a central team of UX Designers and UI Engineers, as well as across the enterprise.
• Collaborate on defining internal agency-like services and resourcing.
• Mentor and support team members across the organization.
• Participate in the estimation process.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to match visual design intent.
• Maintain, expand, and scale existing web assets and design systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them into day to day activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline
• 5+ years of experience designing responsive web apps, websites and design systems for a Sass product.
• Experienced / familiar with technologies like HTML/CSS, (Angular) Material Design, Sass, and NodeJS / npm such that you can communicate with engineers.
• Experience in the design and documentation of complex interfaces with a thorough understanding of modern web technologies.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Expertise in modern visual and interactive product design.
• Highly creative, organized and detail-oriented.
• Passionate about delivering the best user experience possible.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiar with interaction design & best practices for prototyping and communicating concepts using tools like Sketch and Invision.

Additional skills:

• Deep understanding of product design, user experience, information hierarchy, user-flows, composition, layout, color and typography.
• Experience in data visualization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and able to present to small and large groups of people including Design, Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Executive stakeholders.
• Online portfolio demonstrating broad skills, versatile aesthetic, high-end customer facing experiences, with expertise in design principles, thinking and usability.
• Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology.
• Experience with GIT.
