Job Description:

Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of experience in IT industry with proven track record of delivering high profile projects or managing products
  • Degree in Computer Science and Engineering is mandatory
  • At least 5 years or more experience in hands-on software development in the last 10 years
  • At least 4 years or more experience in managing team of at least 25 members people in a high profile long engagement (greater than 6 months)

Discipline in planning, execution and tracking plan vs. performance

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies including understanding of Story, Acceptance Criteria and relationship to program’s success
  • Demonstrate a technical understanding in one or more areas of the following Frontend Channel (Mobile Application or Web), Microservices, Cloud Architecture or Analytics
  • Demonstrate capability in program management including, but not limited to, understanding of task tracking, estimation process and design appropriate dashboard for reporting progress
  • Capable of handling escalation if necessary and doesn’t fall under pressure
  • Demonstrate career progression from hands on engineer to senior leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Detailed Job duties

 

As a Sr. Project Manager, the person will be responsible for the following,

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure strategic investment aligns with business strategy and drives operating results.
  • Understand and support product and architectural roadmaps, provide financial estimates and impacts.
  • Effectively perform technical tasks to advance the client roadmap, including the innovative use of solutions that best fit business / project needs.
  • Handle multiple development teams for building features and collaborate with developers on solutions. Develop the framework for Front-end development, Cloud Integration, Microservices development and Continuous Integration and Deployment
  • Contribute technical expertise to multiple areas/activities and provide guidance on enterprise application integration.
  • Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive IT strategy and architecture.
  • Demonstrate ability to use tools such as Visio, Omnigraffle to illustrate flows, data design, and application architecture.
  • Identify and provide directions to leverage common framework components across Applications
  • Present complex ideas to large groups and communicate effectively with non-technical business partners.
