GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Develop software applications and software toolsets that will be utilized internally (staff) and externally (clients). Collaborate with project managers to ensure consistent and timely implementations using the agile framework. Heavy focus on cloud services provisioning orchestration.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Contribute to requirements gathering, architecture, design and implementation of enterprise class UI and Web Portal experience.
2. Deliver on software projects (PHP 7, Python, REACT) using proven development processes (Agile/SCRUM)
3. Seek opportunity to bring in continuous improvements to implement front-end and back-end best practices and web application layer implementation for usability, performance, scalability, and security
4. Proven ability to handle multiple, complex technical projects and have the flexibility to work in a very dynamic environment

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: MUST HAVE

1. 3+ Years Experience with PHP 7
2. 3+ Years Experience with mySQL Database
3. 3+ Years Experience with PostgresSQL Database
4. 3+ Years Experience with Python
5. 3+ Years Experience with Symfony framework
6. Experience with VMWare APIs(VSphere and VCloud) a plus
7. Experience implementing/designing codes sing software development patterns preferred
8. Experience with ReactJS and Flux Architecture a plus
9. Experience in Single Pane of Glass web applications a plus
10. Experience in Service-oriented architecture (SOA)
11. Experience in utilizing a message bus platform
12. Experience with the MVC standard
13. Good understanding of modern coding security practices
14. Ability to work to work on multiple projects at once
15. Ability to work independently or in a team setting
16. Ability to comply with company developed coding standards and platforms
17. An understanding of the hosting industry (previous employment or you’ve owned a server/vm)
18. Linux Server Administration experience a plus
19. Experience with basic networking skills a plus (IP assignment, routers and switches, etc.)
20. Strong Jira and confluence experience
21. Ability to create user stories and interpret business requirements into technical requirements
