Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Senior Java Developer will be responsible for development of applications across the Digital and Marketing Technology domain, responsibilities include:

• Understand business requirements in the Capital Markets Domain and translate them into technical requirements

• Develop application in Java FSD – Java, Springboot, Micro-Services, Kafka, MongoDB

• Use Visual Designs (PSD files) to develop responsive web and Single Page Applications consuming server-side JSON restful services

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries

• Manual and Automated Unit Testing

• Discuss with offshore team on tasks to be done, and mentor junior members of the team.

• Performs design & code reviews for team members.

• Train, conduct interviews and build new high performance front end teams.

Key Qualification

• Experience working in Capital Markets

• Java FSD – Java, Springboot, Micro-Services, Kafka, MongoDB

• Experience in Automation tools/scripts like Python etc.

• Proven hands-on Software Development experience and strong Full Stack Development programming

• Experience with micro services

• Proficiency in Springboot
  

• Proficiency with server side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net is a nice to have

• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.

• Strong Technical Leadership experience and good Communication Skills

• Ability to interact with Customer and provide technical inputs/leadership

• Co-ordinate with and provide direction for offshore team

• Exposure to agile technology and Good Understanding of Agile (Scrum) ceremonies.
