JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Sr. Java Backend Developer

Location: San Jose, CA/ Houston, TX

Duration: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Expert-level knowledge of Java
• Extensive knowledge in building horizontally scalable products in AWS
• Experience with 3 tier architecture
• Experience with databases like MySQL, Oracle.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices
• BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or a similar technical degree preferred

Expected Outcomes in 12 months

• Designing and implementing elegant solutions to complex platform problems
• Enhancing our core application framework
• Bringing in knowledge of industry standard best practices and evolving our technology footprint.
• Enhancing our database and file storage tier using proven methodologies to achieve horizontal scale
• Prioritizing, designing and implementing critical platform projects
