Work Location: Saint Petersburg Florida

Will start onsite for a few days them be mostly remote until COVID slows with occasional socially distant meet ups in the office. 4 yr degree is a must.

DISYS is seeking a Senior C#/ASP.Net/SQL Server Developer who is a contributor to product and client project development efforts. The person in this role must have proven experience in .NET and SQL Server development and a demonstrated history of applying that knowledge to enterprise software solutions. The person in this position will be required to continually advance their knowledge and participate in the .NET professional community. This person will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with highly skilled professionals in a team environment and will be required to demonstrate a high level of self-initiative and analytical skills. This role will work with teams members from different departments across the organization and requires the ability to communicate effectively with all team members.

Responsibilities

• Use Microsoft technologies to develop technical solutions to complex proglems in a collaborative team environment
• Proficient in all stages of SDLC: Requirement Gathering, Design, code, test, debug, documentation, implementation, and support
• Develop, maintain and support programs/tools for internal and external clients
• Follow all department standards and methodologies
• Analyse and understand interfaces and dependencies between technical components
• Perform standard release-based development under planned deadlines as well as investigate and resolve priority Production issues
• Provide guidance as a senior team member regarding industry best practices, optimal coding techniques and emerging technologies
• Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations

• Experience in translating business logic and requirements into technical designs and solutions

Experience

• Must have C#, ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript, Jquery, MS SQL and TSQL
• Knowledge of VB.Net, Angular, Xamarin is a plus!
• 7+ years of hands on .NET development experience
• Experience with database design concepts
• Experience with application development tools including Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Team Foundation Server and VSTS
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
