Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate who can bring passion and experience in driving quality for marquee experiences in Windows. In this role, the candidate will:

• Be an active voice of quality and continually provide feedback to improve the product.

• Learn and develop expertise in testing of new and assigned test areas.

• Manage and prioritize execution and results of manual and automated test efforts.

• Improve test quality and effectiveness by working with Development and Program Management to prevent problems and to make the product more testable.

• Plan, write and update all relevant documentation related to managing quality of the product.

Top 3 Skills:

1. Familiarity with Windows

1. Hands on UX testing experience

1. Bug triage experience

The right candidate for this role should be able to demonstrate:

• Solid knowledge of Windows (as a user).

• Proven success in testing software products and contributing to their quality standards.

• Knowledge of product development lifecycle, software testing standards, methods and conventions.

• Customer advocacy and passion and/or interest in elevating the quality of the product.

• Resilience in being able dig deep until the core of a problem can be reproduced.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft product quality (or of similar software companies).
