Apex Systems is looking to hire a number of Software Developers and Software Test Engineers, across a variety of technologies and experience levels, to support an upcoming ICBM related effort. These developers will provide directorate support to a variety of stakeholders in support of various sustainment and acquisition related efforts.

The Contractor shall provide senior design, development, deployment, integration, administration, sustainment, management, etc. services in support of automated collaboration, workflows, business processes, business-intelligence dashboards, web content, data, information, and knowledge management.

Potential Responsibilities:

• Create and/or assess software strategies, including which applications should be deployed in the IDE, validating Government software requirements, providing recommendations for improvements, etc.
• Meet with system users to assess and recommend configuration changes.
• Recommend opportunities and methodologies to revise, replace, or reconfigure Government processes to better align with industry standards and emerging technologies
• Create workflows and coordination paths within enterprise data applications.
• Recommend custom application configuration specifications and provide associated product delivery timelines.
• Perform software defect tracking and reporting.

Qualified Applicants will have:

• Modern programming language understanding (e.g. C++, JAVA, PYTHON) and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. MATLAB) to customize/configure required software tools
• Experience in the development and deployment of Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software applications supporting the ICBM IDE, such as Microsoft SharePoint, Atlassian JIRA, Oracle Primavera, Siemens Teamcenter, and similar softwares.
• Advanced knowledge of modern SLDC practices and procedures, ability to work in collaborative environment and create innovative solutions to unique challenges.
