As Principal Software Engineer, youll be using your object-oriented development expertise and database know-how on the data we ingest from our data providers, and the solutions you develop will revolutionize the way products and services are sold. We rely on our Software Engineers to develop innovative solutions for our digital and offline marketing products. Our solutions will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success with Oracle will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination. Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Development experience in Java is required.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, databases, OO Design concepts.
• Experience working in big data technologies such as Apache Spark specifically Spark SQL & Spark machine Learning.
• Expertise in Java and JEE development & REST Web services.
• Knowledge of developing tools or scripts using Perl, Python, Ruby or shell scripting.
• Experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
• A demonstrated record of delivering projects in the face of significant ambiguity and complexity.
• Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software on time in a fact paced environment.
• Excellent debugging and problem solving skills and should be able to unblock and guide junior members of the team.
• Provide technical leadership by taking active part in designing, conducting design reviews, ensuring strict adherence to coding and development standards.
