Robert Half Technology is currently accepting applications for a Software Developer position on behalf of a client. Candidates for this position should keep in mind that they will be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company if chosen. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Orlando, Florida area.

Responsibilities

- Ensure clear and consistent interaction around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

- Combine resources with Scrum team to contribute true work estimates

- Customarily implement code-review and join with other developers

- Fix and offer production support

- This job might be for you if you can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems

Requirements

- Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC Methodology

- General familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- PHP experience

- .NET experience preferred

- Adeptness in API Development

- Agile SDLC experience highly preferred

- MuleSoft experience

- Background working with Software Integration

- Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience highly desired

- Practical knowledge of GitHub

- Knowledge of Java Application Development

- Applicants should have familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)

- Experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.

- Applicants should have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.

- Applicants should have knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF

- Ability to write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

- We are particularly looking for candidates with familiarity with scrum

- Experience documenting, crafting, and testing APIs
