Apacheta is a leading mobile business solutions provider in logistics space for its partners within health care, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, maintenance and repair, and transportation markets. Apacheta develops a variety of applications running on native iOS, Android, and Window Mobile platform used by technicians, drivers, and support staff as well as web-based application for the customer care and dispatch staff. Apacheta’s technology stack is based on VMWare / Linux / MySQL / Java in the back-end including for its cloud infrastructure. The mobile applications in the front-end leverages Microsoft technology stack and Visual Studio / Xamarin IDE, whereas web-based front-end applications are based on Linux/Java stack. Application integration uses a combination of proprietary technologies as well as web services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Software Engineer – Java will design, code, and unit test Apacheta cloud. The individual will works under general direction of Application Development Manager, Interfaces directly with other software developers, project leaders and managers, industry colleagues and client personnel. S/he will be responsible for the design, development and testing of web application and Integration solutions using J2EE technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Designs and develops Web Enabled technology with solid knowledge of server-side java technologies, Internet standards and protocols.

2. Participates in solutions workshop with customers to define business requirements, work with Project managers to produce design documents and functional specification.

3. Delivers proof of concept / pilot to demonstrate Apacheta ( A division of Brightree LLC) applications.

4. Implements custom integration with customer’s enterprise system.

5. Provides production support as level 3.

6. Participates in production deployment process.

7. Be a team player communicating with colleagues and other department members.

8. Other duties as assigned.

    

    

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

2. 5 years of experience in Enterprise Web Application development using spring/hibernate.

3. 1 year of experience with REST API development using spring boot / jersey.

4. 1 year experience creating web UIs using angular JS or wicket.

5. 1 year of experience with enterprise software integration.

6. 1 year of experience with mobile application integration.

7. 1 year experience wring design and/or architecture of enterprise applications.

8. Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC and related artifacts.

    

Communication Skills

1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

2. Ability to debug and solve problem in efficient manner.

    

Technical Skills

1. Database: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, No SQL database

2. J2EE: Spring Framework, Hibernate, Wicket Framework, Jersey, JSP, Tomcat, Xml, Java Script, Html, Jasper Report, web services, jQuery, CSS, bootstrap, Angular JS , Spring Boot .

3. Operating System Skills: Linux/Unix.

4. Programming language: Java

5. Development Tools: Eclipse, Maven, ANT, Subversion, Jenkins, Git
