We are in need of a strong Python Developer/Team Lead for our growing SaaS client. You will be responsible for designing, refactoring, and supporting our client's most profitable application as a team lead. You must have previous team or project leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and have previously coordinated deliverables between Engineering and QA groups to deliver a world-class application.

This is a full-time (direct hire) position offering a competitive salary, and comprehensive company benefits. It is a REMOTE position, working east coast business hours. Candidates MUST be USA based. Our client is not able to transfer a visa or provide sponsorship.

We need candidates with Enterprise application integration experience. You will be the senior API engineer responsible for developing and supporting a SaaS-based proprietary application. We are an all Agile shop so you will be working closely with our Scrum Master to plan our delivery dates on code production.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Engineering or equivalent experience

Be a strong Python Developer in a Linux environment, with at least 6 years of commercial application development experience including SaaS based applications

Possess Lead experience over developers doing code reviews, giving day-to-day directions to other coders, and planning for future development.

Experience defining, estimating, coding, reviewing, testing, and documenting solutions for feature development, maintenance, and refactor initiatives

2+ years of professional experience developing RESTful APIs

Agile/Scrum experience

Capable of working in a fast-paced environment where things can start and stop on a dime.
