Senior Python Developer
Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Java engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. Location:
Currently remote and open to remote candidates; however, we prefer candidates to be based in the Dallas metro area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Proven work experience as a Python Developer
• Experience with ML algorithms and specially NLP (sentiment analysis, topic modelling)
• Expert in solution design and development on AWS services from scratch, Knowledge of following AWS services a must - S3, lambda, RDS and messaging/streaming services like kinesis
• Experience on SQL or No-SQL based databases
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Python Developer
• Experience with ML algorithms and specially NLP (sentiment analysis, topic modelling)
• Expert in solution design and development on AWS services from scratch, Knowledge of following AWS services a must - S3, lambda, RDS and messaging/streaming services like kinesis
• Experience on SQL or No-SQL based databases

• Bonus skill set
• Experience with social media feeds integration (twitter, FB etc)
