Experis is partnered with a multinational pharmaceutical corporation in their search for a Senior Python Developer to join their team in Boulder, CO.

Candidates must have 10+ years of development experience to be considered - candidates with any less than 10 years of development experience will not be qualified for this opportunity!!

The Senior Python Developer will be taking direction from Software Engineers to work primarily with Python and APIs. In the existing environment, calls are made directly to the database. As part of Phase One of integration to the parent company systems, they are looking to stand up APIs and migrate Python code to make database calls through the APIs.

Responsibilities:

Follows standards and industry best practices with regard to the design, implementation, and maintenance of software applications.
Coordinates with stakeholders to integrate new applications into the existing infrastructure, and makes sure that existing applications are functionally appropriate and working smoothly.
Contributes technical expertise to the management team and assists in the evaluation, requirements gathering, time estimation, and planning of software projects across the organization.
Designs and implements technical solutions in various languages (Python, C#, HTML5, JavaScript), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), frameworks (Docker, NumPy, SciPy, Node.js, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).
