IBM seeks a Senior/Lead Data Engineer.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 6 years relevant experience including at least one year in a leadership role as one of the following:

• Data Engineer-Big Data with Hadoop, Python, SQL and AWS
  OR
• Data Engineer-Big Data with AI/ML, Python, SQL, Spark, Hadoop, Hive and AWS
  OR
• Data Engineer-Big Data with Informatica and SQL Server
  OR
• Data Engineer-Advance Analytics with Cognos for data preparation, analysis, and report creation, source-to-target mapping, Python or JavaScript or SQL
  OR
• Data Engineer-Integration with HiveQL/SQL, AWS (EMR or S3), Python
  OR
• Data Engineer-MDM Integration with hands-on use of Master Data Management (MDM) tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Unless specified as a Required Skill, the following are additionally preferred but not required:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Informatica
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Tableau
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Cognos
• Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Master Data Services
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, or other Hadoop Ecosystem languages or technology
• AWS, Redshift, Google Cloud Certification

Your Role and Responsibilities
The position of the Data Engineer plays a key role in the development and deployment of innovative big data platforms for advanced analytics and data processing. The Data Engineer defines and builds the data pipelines that will enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making within the business. Develops applications on Big Data and Cognitive technologies including API development. Expected to have traditional Application Development background along with knowledge of Analytics libraries, open-source Natural Language Processing, statistical and big data computing libraries. Strong technical abilities to understand, design, write and debug complex code.
