Expert level with Angular 6+

Expert level with Java 8/ Spring boot/ Spring MVC

Preferred Skills: Any exposure to Python or WebFocus is a plus.

Interview Process: 2 rounds of video. 1st round 1 hour, 2nd round 1.5 with extended team.

About Project/ Team: Chapter has multiple reporting and analytic applications that they work on. Reporting runs VIP platform and analytics build on Angular and spring. The are in the phase where they take legacy applications to cloud so the main focus will be working on cloud enablement for multiple applications. Once they move the applications to the cloud, they will go back to focusing in on updating and building out applications with Angular and Java . This person will be more of a technical leader and work on multiple different projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hardworking and motivated developer for a hands-on role in an inflight project
• In-depth knowledge & experience on Java (spring MVC, spring boot) - (5+ yrs)
• UI experience – Angular 6+, Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS and related (5+ yrs)
• Expertise and hands on experience with Docker, elastic computing, AWS services, AWS CLI, EC2, S3, ECS, EBS, VPC, IAM, Lamda, Cloud watch, Autoscaling (3+ yrs)
• Experience with planning, implementation, adoption and compliance to enterprise architecture strategies, processes and standards
• Ability to design and manage Cloud-based infrastructure to deliver performance and security requirements
• Exposure to application migrations and bridging gaps
• Experience working with Websphere, Tomcat
• Experience with Python scripting
• Experience with WebFocus
• Should be highly skilled in troubleshooting production issues on various applications.
• Experience with problem solving on complex and highly integrated systems is needed.
• Should be a self starter and a very productive technologist.

Education: Prefer bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field
