SENIOR FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Anivive is changing the landscape of the pet health through proprietary software that discovers, develops and delivers new companion animal pharmaceuticals, while also changing the way that we interact and care for our pets on a daily basis.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build software used to change the lives of pets and pet owners throughout the world. Our software engineers are involved in every facet of Anivive by developing software solutions for discovering promising new compounds, aiding in the development of these therapeutics, and even changing the way that we interact with out pets on a daily basis.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer you will shape user-centric products that are critical to our core messaging as well as the development and execution of our therapeutic development platform. You will work closely with the Anivive design team, pharmaceutical team and other Anivive engineers to create applications that anticipate and solve important problems they face. Our goal is to change the way people interact with and understand pet health. If you want to be a part of changing animal health, we would love to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Laravel and Vue SPA counterparts
• Create documentation conforming to standards
• Troubleshoot, identify and resolve performance problems.
• Create TDD tests for new API features

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years experience with Laravel and API development
• 5 years experience using a JavaScript framework
• Experience writing modern ES6 Javascript
• MySQL
• Experience with Git / Jira
• Experience developing and working with APIs
• Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, REST)
• Fluent in English
• Able to work onsite in Long Beach, CA
