Our client in Overland Park, KS is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Writing efficient code that is usable and testable Collaborating with peers on the technical and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Writing unit and integration tests and participating in the quality assurance process Leveraging UI/UX frameworks such as React to build engaging data visualization and decision making tools for our customers Writing applications across the technology stack as needed to support team deliverables Analyzing code for problem resolution and performance optimization Ability to accept and embrace change within fast-paced business environment

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML and CSS Experience working with React and NodeJS At least 5 years of Linux/Unix experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills At least 8 years of front-end software development experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience

BONUS POINTS FOR Experience working with Python Experience with API and/or data programming Working knowledge of SQL and databases (PostgreSQL knowledge preferred) Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment preferred Experience with cloud computing services (preferably AWS) Experience with SASS or LESS CSS frameworks
