Position is remote/telecommuting until July 1, 2021. Then candidate must be on-site in our Irving TX office.

The Senior Enterprise Software Developer programs and maintains software, assists with new designs, and provides technical guidance to other team members.
JOB DUTIES:

• Write programming code for new projects and enhancements to existing systems
• Perform unit and integration testing of all programming code to ensure proper functionality
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation using UML
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of existing systems software and hardware as well as a basic understanding of the underlying business needs the systems are designed to meet
• Serve as a subject matter expert on core systems, providing guidance to other team members in their maintenance and support
• Provide technical guidance to other team members
• Provide support and maintenance for existing systems during business hours, and after hours, on a rotating basis
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Conform with all company policies and procedures

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Required Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience with Microsoft Net technologies, including C#
• 5-7 years of programming experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of the following: .NET Core, Angular & C#
• In-depth understanding of SDLC standards and best practices
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Net class libraries
• Advanced knowledge of business processes for supported business groups
• Advanced knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices
• Advanced knowledge of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
• Advanced knowledge of GM Financial's core business functions
• Advanced knowledge of the consumer loan business
• Advanced knowledge of the Corporate Business solution environment
• Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
• Advanced knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups

Skills:

• Ability to create and work RFC and SR tickets with Oracle On Demand, Oracle Managed Cloud Services and Oracle Support
• Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
• Strong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Deadline oriented
• Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
• Must be a self-starter and able to manage the investigations function with minimal supervision
• Experience with data visualization concepts and tools
• Good computer skills and conversance in information technology issues
