IBM seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• High School or College Graduation (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics)
• At least 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Cloud technologies in at least one of the following (Red Hat, Openshift, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud)
• At least 3 years experience with Cloud migration of existing apps to AWS (on premise)
• At least 2 years experience with Dev Ops
• Experience in integrating layers and platforms, cloud architecture and concepts of DevSecOps, DataOps
• Experience with tool chains and continuous integration/continuous delivery
• Experience with solution assessment for performance, refactoring, platforms, multiple points of integration

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with APIs
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (nice to have)
• Experience with toolchain automation and automatic deployment
• Experience with Feature Toggle, Release Toggle

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Dev Ops professional, you’ll work in an Agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems, which may include software installations, updates, and core services.
• You’ll pair with development teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.
• You’ll automate and optimize processes, using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.
• You’ll design and implement tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
• You’ll troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production instances.
