This Senior Developer / Business Intelligence Engineer will work in a small team of engineers and compliance analysts to automate system inventories, develop automated control tests, build API integrations with tools, and orchestrate compliance reporting using Business Intelligence tools and an enterprise data lake. Must have experience:

• 5 - 10+ years of solid Python, Ruby or Java development experience. The successful candidate will have broad development experience; must include development experience in Python, Ruby or Java development to connect to APIs (e.g. Splunk, BigFix, Elasticsearch) in order to orchestrate processes. You will need to demonstrate experience interpreting customer requirements and creating innovative solutions using code. You will also have experience using BI tools (e.g Power BI or Tableau) to develop data-lake integrations and create near real-time dashboards and reports to solve specific business challenges. Additional experience should include:
• Documentation: Document solution design in line with requirements, to include diagrams, design documents, code comments, and readme files. Strong writing skills are a must.
• Deployment and management of server operating systems to support the solution
• 1 - 2+ years of Business Intelligence experience: Proven experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau. This experience will include tool configuration, dashboard and report development, and the establishment of connectivity to multiple data sources.
• 2+ years Data Analytics experience: The candidate will have worked with a data analytics tool or on projects involving the normalization and centralization of data to support business needs for insight or automation.

Preferred Experience:

• Strong Preference of Government Risk and Compliance experience: Understanding of NIST 800-53 and other NIST special publications. The successful candidate will have at least a basic understanding of Government Risk and Compliance and will be eager to learn more.
• Strong Preference of Security experience. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of security principles and how they apply to solution development. This includes employing the principle of least privilege, and good Cyber hygiene
• Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools such as CSAM or Archer
• Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent Security certification preferred
• BI certification from a leading BI tool vendor is preferred
