Work you'll do/Responsibilities

•Understand our client's fast-moving business requirements
•Lead a team of developers for upcoming releases
•Lead the development of external interfaces
•Collaborate and implement most relevant development tools/ techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements
•Manage and maintain project goals established for project deliverables
•Identify new opportunities, tools, and services to enhance the custom software platform
•Support and troubleshoot issues (process & system), identify root cause, and proactively recommend sustainable corrective actions
•Develop solutions to client problems via use of methodologies and software application tools
•Demonstrate accountability

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Qualifications
Required
•Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical discipline; or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of experience with cloud technologies
• 6+ years of experience with Java 8
•Must have hands on experience with Spring Boot & Spring Cloud
•Experienced with NoSQL or MySQL, ETL
•Must have hands on experience building software components that integrate with a workflow engine or ESB to execute
•Experience with leading projects and small development teams
•Hands on scripting with ANSI (Ansible)
•Demonstrated experience in AWS storage encryption, data at rest, and data in transit
•Knowledge of AWS infrastructure buildouts
•Knowledge of AWS Management Services experience (CloudWatch, ELB, EC2 autoscaling, CloudTrail and AWS Config), AWS workspaces, and AWS directory Services
•Must be able to relocate or live in the Orlando, Florida area
•Must be able to travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
•Limited Immigration Sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications
•AWS Certification
•Scala is a plus
•Experience with previous Cloud Migrations
