Senior Capital Markets Software Pre-Sales Engineer, Series A FinTech, NYC (remote during COVID), salary commensurate with experience + performance-based bonus ($200,000 - $250,000 total comp)

Harrington Starr is recruiting for a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, a Series A FinTech company based in NYC. This role will be remote during COVID but onsite eventually with potential travel.

Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in capital markets technology, including the ability to code in Python and experience as a technologist or financial engineer in a buy or sell-side/trading firm, at a software company, or a consultancy working with Front Office solutions like Front Arena (SunGard/FIS) or Murex. Experience with equities, FX, or credit is required. Previous experience performing pre-sales functions such as requirements gathering, demos, POCs, RFIs/RFPs is highly beneficial but can be taught.
