Sr. Architect, Mobile Software

Technical Planning Team is looking for an Architect/Sr. Architect, Mobile Software to help drive technology innovation while helping to develop and maintain strategic partnerships that are crucial to the development of cutting-edge mobile devices. This position will engage in mobile product development and work collaboratively with engineering teams to identify and validate ideas for next gen mobile experience. This position will play a key role in working with device software management team on software strategy and innovation guidance.

Requirements:

• Will study next-gen mobile device software industry trends, be sensitive to cutting-edge technology developments, identify opportunities and lead the technology planning of mobile device software to drive innovation for mobile product.
• Familiar with emerging technologies and solutions in areas like next-gen OS, AI/AR application on device, lead the ideation and work with engineering team to drive prototypes for validation
• Self-starter, a true team player, able to work in fast-paced environment, proven success in working with diverse teams to drive results.
• Knowledge of mobile OS framework layer, and/or mobile application development. Good understanding of mobile market needs and key focus of the competitive handset devices
• Research or development experience in one or more of the following mobile technologies is great plus: next-gen device OS, AI, computer vision, camera, ARVR, multimedia, UX
• Experience in product marketing, product management of mobile devices, application and services
• Occasional travel as work required

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree; Preferred: Master or PhD Degree, in Computer Science or related areas, and/or MBA

Work Experience:

• Minimum: 5+ years of relevant experience; Preferred: 8+ years of relevant experience; Prior experience of Technical BD is a plus
