This is a Full-Time Remote position with our client. The position offers a yearly base salary plus bonus and benefits. Depending on the relevant experience, our client is willing to offer a higher salary.

Salesforce Solutions Architect (100% Remote - Full-Time position with our direct client)

Our client. located in Charlotte, NC, is looking for someone with deep and demonstrable experience defining & delivering effective, agile, usable & intuitive solutions on the Salesforce Community & Service Cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be able to effectively leverage core capabilities of the Salesforce platform avoiding customizations & complexity wherever possible while still meeting business needs. You will cover all aspects of the delivery lifecycle including needs analysis, solution design & documentation, deployment, and continuous improvement. You'll work with internal business partners and 3rd party development partners to put quality solutions in the market for consumption on a global scale. We will consider remote options for the right person.

To be successful, you'll be a driven, hands-on, self-directed team player with a passion for delivering solutions that work. This role will partner closely with our client's internal corporate, global, and external partners to continually deliver value on the Salesforce platform. Design effective solutions utilizing Salesforce assets including Community Cloud, Service Cloud & Mulesoft as well as existing legacy business support systems, and assist with configuration work as needed Collaborate with internal global business partners to ensure full understanding of business requirements and provide solutions for requested enhancements & feature releases

Create, compare, contrast and present proposals for solution options using all available means core system Salesforce system capabilities, resources within the AppExchange and Trailhead as necessary, in support of the Community, Service, and Integration Clouds Recommend design options while effectively communicating justification for the recommended approach, complete proof of concepts as needed Assist in the design and creation of workflows and custom object design and builds Create Custom reporting and dashboards within Salesforce as necessary Review defects, perform triage & recommend solutions during project development efforts as well as doing so as a function of production support; partner with 3rd parties when required Assist with data preparation, staging, and integration as needed Work with multiple technical delivery teams to effectively deliver solutions to production QA, UAT, Release Management & production support Willingness to dive in any area and help when needed

The candidate needs to be well-rounded, adaptable, well-spoken with solid client-facing, analytical, and agile delivery skills and not just a senior developer.

Partner with various teams including our clients global Call Centers, various business areas, Marketing, and IT teams to understand business requirements and provide solutions for requested enhancements and feature releases Compare, contrast, and present proposals for solution candidates using resources within the AppExchange and Trailhead as necessary, in support of the Community, Service, and Integration Clouds Write, update, maintain tickets within the Service Now project administration platform Coordinate software development testing handoff, working closely with the internal QA team Review defects, assist with initial triage and solution design to resolve Assist in the design and creation of workflows and custom object design and builds Create Custom reporting and dashboards within Salesforce as necessary Complete User Administration tasks, Access Management Alignment, System Security, Role and Profile modifications (including Permission Sets, Sharing Rules & Public Groups) Assist with change management administrative activities Assist with data preparation, staging, and integration as needed Assist with administration of sprint milestones

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of Salesforce solution analysis & design experience with over 10+ years in IT
  • Candidates coming from a Salesforce development background preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator certified
  • Ability & willingness to engage in all phases and levels of the delivery process
  • Demonstrable ability to formulate creative, effective solutions utilizing core Salesforce components with minimal customization
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate and communicate with internal technical & business stakeholders and 3rd party development partners at all management levels
  • Ability to research solutions, assess options, and formulate proposals for ways to solve demands from business partners
  • Experience in Salesforce release & environment management is a plus
  • Understanding of ServiceCloud in Call Center environment desired
  • Experience with SDLC, testing processes, release management, CI/CD processes is preferred
  • Experience with multiple delivery methodologies is preferred Agile Scrum, waterfall
