Overview

Looking for a highly professional, organized and dynamic Salesforce Business Analyst. This role is responsible for consulting with Salesforce users across the organization to drive value leveraging the Salesforce platform. This individual will provide day to day Salesforce administration support while partnering with key internal resources to define the development needs and evolution of the Salesforce application.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with operations, account management, marketing, and sales leadership to identify opportunities to create business value leveraging the salesforce platform
• Leads requirements gathering sessions and design workshops for new Salesforce initiatives
• Collaborates with sales and marketing to collect data from salesforce automation in order to enable the business to be more proactive with competitive strategies and targeted sales opportunities
• Documents user stories for development initiatives
• Salesforce administrative support: changes to profiles, roles, security protocols, sharing rules, and groups
• Build custom apps, objects, formula fields, workflows, and custom views
• Develops customized dashboards, reports and processes within salesforce.com to improve visibility to activities, pipeline and forecast. Evaluate Salesforce new releases to understand changing functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how these changes will apply to all affected departments
• Define acceptance criteria for new Salesforce initiatives
• Participate in solution design and testing activities as needed
• Works with business and technology leaders to further define future Salesforce initiatives needed within the organization
• Configures and tests new/updated salesforce.com solutions
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of technical certifications
• Certified Administrator (ADM201)

Experience:

• 2+ years as a Salesforce Business Analyst
• Expertise in Salesforce configuration in Classic and Lightning environment
• Experience in agile software development methodology
• Experience writing user stories, managing and prioritizing product backlog
• Experience in system development lifecycle activities supporting Salesforce migrations from test to production environment

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
• Strong data management abilities
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
