We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU/Telemetry Unit on Night shift.
On our PCU/Telemetry Unit, you ll act as the leader of the interdisciplinary team providing compassionate professional nursing care to a variety of medical/surgical patients with specific neuro/cardiac needs, including stroke, cardiac related conditions, respiratory disorders and a variety of other conditions across the continuum of care for a diverse population of patients. You ll be responsible for directing the work of Patient Care Assistants who will be there to support you in providing exemplary patient care.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.
*Strongly preferred experience in TELE/ PCU or Stepdown or 2 years of Medical surgical expr. in an acute care setting*

Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school and a current nursing license issued by the State of Arizona or other compact state.
The ideal candidate will have, or be working toward, their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and specialty certification.
1 year of acute care experience is preferred in Tele or 2 years of Medsurg
Current BLS and ACLS are required.
