Role: QA Tester/Denodo
Location: Newport New Jersey
Duration: Contract

Must haves:
-API testing skills
-Good understanding of QA process
-Experience in Data centric testing
-QA automation expertise (selenium/Python)
-Denodo (optional )

1. Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
2. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
3. Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
4. Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
5. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
1. Defining the testing activities and responsibilities of test planning.
2. To check if the team has all the necessary resources to execute the testing activities.
4. To check if testing is going hand in hand with the software development in all phases.
5. Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
6. Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
7. Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
8. Prepare the status report of testing activities.
9. Required Interactions with customers.
10. Updating project manager regularly about the progress of testing activities.
