Position: Python Developer

Location: Des Moines, IA 50392

Term: 12 Months Contract

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Under general direction, identify and provide complex technical and business solutions to meet business strategy.
• Provide leadership in areas of expertise throughout all phases of application systems development. 

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience (6 years of experience equates to an Associate's degree when defining "equivalent work experience")
• 4-5 years' experience, prefer Python along with a statically typed language like Java or C# (Preference of Python coding w/ .NET, will be able to teach AWS)
• Understanding and familiarity with common software development patterns, better practices, and anti-patterns
• Experience with DevOps practices (TDD, CI, CD, etc.)
• Exposure with working with and integrating multiple vendor software applications
• Experience with databases (we use SQL Server)
