Job Description - Python Developer

Python Developer:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance software based on business requirements
• Develop software based on conceptual and technical designs; define and conduct unit testing
• Collaborate effectively within a global IT environment across multiple divisions
• Assist with migration to and adoption of Cloud-based technologies and infrastructure

Day to Day Duties :

• Analysis, Design, Development and Unit-Testing of development tasks/projects
• Act as a catalyst for the local team to build skills outside of the current technological footprint
• Provide support for existing production queries/support issues
• Share insight and experience regarding DevOps

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in information technology as an application developer, preferably in the Finance industry
• Proven problem solving skills and the ability to independently debug and diagnose problems
• Experience developing in Python
• Familarity working with public cloud/AWS including but not limited to: severless solutions, Ec2 instance building, E3, etc
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps

• Proficiency with relational database design and SQL programming (SQL Server or Sybase)
• Understanding of messaging protocols such as SOAP, MQ Series, FIX, SWIFT
• Ability to work on multiple projects, manage user expectations and complete work requests within the stated or expected deadlines.

• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and business partners
